'Time for Tea' inspired necklace (work in progress!)

Post by MoonChildEve on Thu May 03, 2012 10:42 am

Recently, I've started to listen to Emilie Autumn's new songs from the FLAG album. One of my favourites is 'Time for Tea'. And I know a lot of people on the forum are fans of her, so I thought why not make some EA jewellery?

The necklace itself is in the early stages of completion. I need to add a picture to the middle of the round frame, add beads, add feathers, add lots of stuff, really. I know exactly what I want to do with it.
What do you think?

Here's a close up of the necklace.

So cute <3 I would add fake blood into the feathers you were planning because the song is so full of revolution but that might just be my craziness haha! Very Happy

Thanks guys! it's nice to know that you like it Smile
today i added some pink and red gemstones/rhinestones over the top of the holes in the circle cameo frame. it's getting a bit more colourful now Smile
I decided not to add the feathers with the other charms because it didn't work...i tried it out with a feather i had and it looked kinda out of place.
so now i'm thinking of ideas to add a bit of colour to the area with the charms.

and guys...if i made more things like this, inspired by EA/steampunk, would you be interested? i've been considering making an Etsy account for a while but i'm not sure...i really love making jewellery and it would be brilliant if people could enjoy the jewellery too.
