I use to do Karate for 4 years in the local dojo, I quitted because it gets boring after a while.
We have to do war cries, ah fun of screaming our heads off. It was mainly for self-defense purpose anyway. I sucked at the tournaments because I didn't want to hurt my opponent >-<

I've taken a lot of martial arts throughout my life. I started when I was 6 taking Shaolin Kempo Karate. By the time I was 8 I was taking Muay Thai Kick Boxing and going for my brown belt in Karate. At 12 I was on my schools wrestling team learning Submission Wrestling, Grappling and Judo. And when I was 16 I was learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. After I graduated from school I joined the United States Marine Corps and was taught many diffrent Militant fighting styles from across the world. All and All, I know a bit about martial arts, but nothing more important then the right and wrong times to use it.
